Carlo Atienza
Guest Instructor

Carlo is based out of Vancouver, Canada where he is best known for his work directing The Faculty (Body Rock 3rd place Champions 2013, and 2nd place Champions 2014) as well as TwoFourSeven Company (Canadian National Hip Hop Champions 2013-2016, Body Rock Champions 2017,Vibe 3rd Place Champions 2018, and World of Dance LA Champions 2018, Body Rock 3rd place Champions 2019, The Release Adult Champions 2019).

As a choreographer, Carlo has a reputation of being an exceptional visual storyteller. His unique methods of staging and his willingness to tackle challenging concepts and themes are what continue to elevate his craft and set him apart from the rest. Carlo pulls inspiration from all realms of movement from hip hop to contemporary both new and old school. His ability to embody such a diverse vocabulary has proven to be a valuable asset in his artistry.

Carlo is now making moves in the commercial world where you can see much of his work in music videos and television. Most recently, his work has been featured on season 2 of NBC's World of Dance, Season 1 of World of Dance Philippines, Disney and world renowned pop group BTS.  Make sure to keep up with all of his current work on his social media handle @ati3nza.

Cassandra Naud

Cassandra Naud is an actor, dancer and public figure born and raised in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theater. She made her acting debut in a recurring role in Netflix's Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency which aired in 2018. She recently won Best Actress at The Chilliwack Independent Film Festival for her role as Laurie in The Crazy 8’s film Small Fish Directed by Maxime Beauchamp.  Most recently she worked as an actor on TNT’s new upcoming series called Snowpiercer as well as a reoccurring role on the very anticipated Apple TV series “See” starring Jason Momoa. Her dance credits include Nickelodeon's movie Rags starring Keke Palmer, a Saturday Night Football promo collaboration between ESPN and Maroon 5, and was also a featured soloist in Leona Lewis' music video Fire. She has worked with renowned director Kenny Ortega in the television series Bandolero, Disney's Descendants 2 (choreography Tony Testa) as well as Disney’s Descendants 3 (choreography Jamal Sims). Other dance on film credits include The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix), The Magicians (Syfy), Freaky Friday (Disney) and the Flash (CW). Cassandra is a dance educator, actor and public speaker. She has taught all over California and Canada, including the renowned Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2016 she was asked to speak at the TEDX University Of Piraeus conference in Greece on embracing uniqueness. She wishes to continue her journey as an artist and is excited for what's to come.

Prince (Nii Prince Engmann)

Prince “Nii” Engmann is a dancer, choreographer and teacher from Vancouver, Canada. Born in Toronto, Prince decided to dance at the late age of 18 after attending the World of Dance show held in Vancouver. His African heritage as well as his training in classical, jazz and popular music had already laid a solid foundation for him to build his dance training upon. Post graduating and while pursuing a nursing degree, he started training under Studio 604 and Harbour Dance Centre where he found a deep love for hip hop dance. His short yet sweet journey has already led him to dance on stages such as LA’s Choreographers Carnival and has allowed him to open for R&B legends 112. Prince has had the pleasure of dancing for amazing individuals in the industry such as Kenny Ortega and Tony Testa on Descendants 2, has received scholarships from notable choreographers such as Kevin Maher (Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson) and has also received awards for his choreography, including Monster’s of Hip-Hop’s Grand Choreography Award. His passion has allowed given him amazing opportunities to dance all over North America. Prince currently trains and teaches at Harbour Dance Centre, Studio 604 and North Shore Academy  of Dance in Vancouver Canada and continues to spread his love for the art of dance.

Anthony Carr

Born and raised in the Bronx, the Birth Place of Hip Hop, internationally accredited dancer/choreographer/actor, Anthony “Kanec” Carr, has shared his talent through various mediums including television, film, and stage. He trained vigorously at New York City’s prestigious School of American Ballet, while simultaneously attending the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS). At the age of 17, Kanec began training in hip-hop at Broadway Dance Center. Soon thereafter, he became a member of an elite group of entertainers, The Amount Boyz. His raw talent and intense technical training, in combination with his natural knack for performing and the inspiration from his fellow group members, Kanec soon found himself on pop-star, Justin Bieber's, World Tour.  Kanec can be seen working with multi-platinum selling recording artist Missy Elliott, with whom he’s performed the  Katy Perry SuperBowl Halftime Show with.  Along with Missy Elliot, Kanec has performed with Nicki Minaj, Usher, Chris Brown, TLC and Nick Jonas to name a few.  He has also been a featured dancer in multiple movies and television shows (Step Up 1& 3), FAME, Hairspray, Justin Bieber 3D Movie, Glee) and performed on many high profile stages such as the Grammys and the Oscars as well as all of the other musical Award Shows!

Randall Mella

Randall is a hip-hop dancer born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He began dancing at the age of 4 with the Philippine Barangay Performing Arts Society where he learned traditional filipino dancing as well as hiphop. With a growing love for hiphop, Randall moved his training to the Kore Dance Studio, where he eventually continued on to compete with NXG Company at Artists Emerge, World of Dance, Hip Hop International. He has worked closely with other industry-leading choreographers:  Alexander Chung, Free Boogie, Sean Lew, Julian de Guzman, Fefe Burgos, Anze Skrube, Carlo Atienza and the list goes on. Learning from so many different teachers with different styles helps him to stay inspired and to add new movement to his own choreography. He has since then founded his own dance company “Cool Giraffes” and with this new team, he has competed in a number of competitions, including finishing in the Top 10 at Hip Hop International 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona. Randall dedicates himself to helping his students grow in new skills, knowledge, and confidence, all while having fun in the process.

Sabrina Phillip

Sabrina Phillip is an innovative choreographer, passionate dancer and engaging teacher. Sabrina is originally from Canada. She trained intensively in Ballet, Jazz and Modern dance in her early studies and went on to work at the international level in London, England. She taught Master classes at The PineappleDanceworks and The Urdang Academy. She has since been asked to travel the globe to work as a teacher and choreographer at countless dance studios, workshops and conventions, most recently in Mexico, Sweden, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Holland. Sabrina is also a proud finalist of the 2016 and 2017 Capezio ACE Awards! Her degree in Exercise and Health Physiology provides her with a special understanding of the human body and the mechanics of movement. As a teacher, her intention is to challenge dancers; focusing on placement, correct technique, strength, agility and musicality. She is currently on faculty at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles and is a guest teacher at Movement Lifestyle and the the prestigious Joffrey Ballet: West LA. Sabrina has performed with dance companies including Sera Danza, S.H.E., EnCorps, and Unity Dance Ensemble. She appears in commercials for Dex, Hip Hop AbsCorvel and appeared as a dance expert in Hollywood’s 10 Best Dance Movies. Her choreography has been featured on So You Think You Can Dance as well as a commercials for MoBeam and BCBG, as well as My Fair Wedding with David Turtero. Live performances she’s also choreographed for include the Carnival Choreographer’s Ball, LA Dance Magic’s Final Cut, EDGE scholarship showcaseJete, and Silverlake Contemporary Ballet’s modern rendition of Swan Lake. Her music video credits include choreography for Stay and Play by Holly Conlan and Jenna Bryson’s Clear.

Billy Mustapha

Billy was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He began pursuing his love of dance at the age of seven at Dance Spectrum, where he immersed himself into every genre offered.

By the time he was 17 years old, Billy was training with Sarah Dolan of O2 Dance Company, Universesoul Hip Hop Company, and was named Triple Threat Dance Convention’s Achievement Award Winner. As the Achievement Award Winner, Billy worked closely with some of the top choreographers in the industry, including Megan Lawson, Jillian Meyers, Tina Landon, Nick Lanzisera, Tyce Diorio, Luther Brown, and Kelly Konno. Later that year, Billy made the move to Vancouver and joined the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Centre, under the direction of Moe Brody, and started training with TwoFourSeven Hip Hop Company.

While living in Vancouver, Billy has had the pleasure of working as a dancer and skeleton crew on several prestigious projects such as ABC’s Once Upon A Time, Disney’s Freaky Friday, Star Struck: A Cinderella Story, Christmas Chronicles Two with choreographer Christopher Scott, and on Disney’s Descendants 3, under the direction of Kenny Ortega and Jamal Sims. Most recently, Billy has been working as a series regular on seasons one and two of NBC’s hit TV show, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, with Emmy award winning choreographer Mandy Moore. Billy has worked on national TV commercials, including his work as the assistant choreographer on Apple’s commercial The Stuntman, alongside choreographer Jillian Meyers.

Billy has a passion for storytelling through movement and choreography. He is grateful for the mentorship and guidance of role models in the industry, who have inspired him to develop as a dancer and choreographer.

Billy is appreciative of the friendships and connections that dance has fostered, both in and outside of the dance community. Currently, Billy is living between Canada and the United States, while he continues to pursue his love of dance.

We guarantee at least 4 posted faculty will appear in your city. Occasionally another TV/Film contract will bind them to another job. If this happens, we will replace them with another fantastic instructor.
